This is everyone's favorite day at Dunwoody Nature Center. Families will enjoy our centerpiece attraction, the Greathouse Butterfly Tent, crafts, discovery stations, hotdogs and lemonades, Judy Leonard's Songs for Children, and more.

This year we'll open a little early to allow DNC members time to visit the butterflies before the general public arrives!

Admission: Members: Adults $8, Children $4; Nonmembers: Adults $10, Children $5; children under 3 are free
Parking fee: FREE parking at ball fields

Monarchs Across Georgia 10-hour PLU-credited Workshop

Location:                     Watson-Brown Foundation, Thomson, GA

Date/ Time:                  Friday, August  22, 2008  4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (supper included)
                                     Saturday, August 23, 2008  9:00 AM - 4:00 PM  (lunch included)
                                    *Must attend both days to receive 1 PLU

Audience:                   Classroom teachers, non-formal educators, scout and youth
                                    leaders, home school educators, or anyone interested in the
                                    environment

Cost:                            $40 for both days includes curricula and resources.
